Diddy Hit With 7 Fresh Sexual Assault Claims, Including Shocking Incident at 2000s VMAs Party

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new wave of sexual assault allegations, with seven new lawsuits filed against him. Perhaps the most stunning claim of all is an alleged assault at an after-party following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, where one woman alleges she was sexually abused at 13 by Combs and two other celebrities.

According to the federal lawsuit filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, the plaintiff alleges she was “looking for a place to rest” at the 2000 VMAs after-party when Combs allegedly “aggressively approached” her with a “crazed look in his eyes” and said, “You are ready to party!” Combs then allegedly

“threw [the plaintiff] toward another male celebrity, Celebrity A, who removed [her] clothes as she grew more and more disoriented.”

The lawsuit alleges Celebrity A “vaginally raped her” while Diddy and “Celebrity B, a female, watched.” It also alleges Combs then “vaginally raped [the] Plaintiff” before attempting to force oral sex on her.

Combs, who was photographed with the singer at the event in question, was dating Jennifer Lopez at the time of the alleged ordeal. However, Lopez is not named in the suit.

The new lawsuits aren’t limited to just the 2000 VMAs incident. Several centers around alleged incidents from just this year, 2022, including a businessman claiming he was sexually assaulted at a promotional Ciroc event and a personal trainer who says he was drugged and raped after an awards show. A female hip-hop artist also claimed she was drugged and raped by Combs at a party, while a 17-year-old up-and-coming performer also accused them of being assaulted at one of Diddy’s events.

These allegations paint salacious details of a broader pattern of abuse connected with Combs’ high-profile gatherings. The totality of assessments of more than 120 accusations over two decades suggests there might be something systemic attached to these events; men and women alike have come forward, citing sexual assault, drugging, and physical abuse.

Combs now finds himself enveloped in a hot legal battle, pitted against federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges while being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, but the seriousness of the charges against him has enabled him to stay behind bars. His lawyers have filed motion after motion for bail, only to be repeatedly denied by federal judges who said they were concerned that Combs might tamper with witnesses and obstruct justice. The trial will likely begin in May 2025, with extremely high stakes for Combs, whose glittering career may be overtaken by these legal battles.

Combs has denied the allegations, and through his lawyers, the lawsuits were described as “clear attempts to garner publicity.” The lawyers, in an interview with DailyMail.com, said Combs “never sexually assaulted anyone” and that the recent “barrage of filings” was a publicity-seeking maneuver.
