However, the virus continues to sweep through the United States.Even celebrities have been affected by the pandemic. Most recently, Doja Cat’s team positive for Covid-19. Like so many acts before her, the incident has led the star to cancel her upcoming holiday performances.

The “Love To Dream” Star’s Team Tested Positive for Covid-19
Recently, Doja Cat took to Twitter to share some bad news with fans. On Friday, the “Say So” singer/rapper revealed that several members of her team tested positive for Covid-19.
“They are currently in quarantine. To ensure the health and safety of our entire crew, we are taking all the necessary precautions and following proper safety protocols,” the star tweeted.
Unfortunately, the incident has led the star to also cancel her upcoming performances at the Boston and New York iHeartRadio Jingle Ball shows. Despite the disappointing news, fans have had plenty of chances to see Doja Cat perform at holiday shows. In fact, she performed at the Dallas and Los Angeles’ Jingle Ball concerts, and at the Bay Area’s Poptopia just this past weekend. At this point, the star could use a break.
Doja Cat Claps Back at Internet Troll
Most fans supported Doja Cat’s cancellation. However, some internet trolls couldn’t help but take shots at the singer/rapper. Though, Doja Cat made sure to give the haters a taste of their own medicine. Furthermore, a fan accused Doja Cat of contracting Covid-19 herself and spreading it to her team members.
The “Need To Know” emcee clapped back at the hater by stating, “Excuse me b***h! I’m mad at the fact that I can’t perform . . . Don’t you ever put words in my mouth you f—ing demonic rat.” Unfortunately, the hate mail didn’t stop there.
Doja Cat eventually went on an Instagram Live stream to rant about being over social media. Hopefully, the star’s team makes a successful recovery.
