Global rap superstar Drake, the Toronto-born rapper known for his fierce lyrics and close connection with his fans, has added another sprawling piece of property to his real estate collection. The superstar recently acquired a new 313-acre ranch in Brenham, Texas, for a cool $15 million.

About two hours south of Dallas, The Inn at Dos Brisas is one property oozing with rustic charm and luxury. Drake fell in love with the tranquil beauty of the Texas landscape and decided to make it his own. Originally listed at $17.5 million, this is one of those properties that was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the right buyer, says listing agent Tonya Currie.
The ranch features a 14,300 square foot residence with multiple haciendas and casitas between pecan trees, wildflowers, three ponds, and the gentle Peach Creek. Other amenities featured are an organic farm, resort-style pool, hot tub, tennis court, and equestrian facilities of world-class quality.
Drake announced the purchase last September in an Instagram post showing him driving around the property.
“‘Me and my partna’, we done gone country on y’all,” he said in his best country accent. “We said we was gonna do it for a lot of years and we’re doing it today. The sale is made. We gotta drop a new one for this. If you see your girl at the ‘Lover Boy Lake’, it’s over.”
Dos Brisas was bought in 2000 by Houston high-tech entrepreneur Doug Bosch and his wife, Jennifer, to use as their family getaway. Later, in 2004, they transformed it into a resort under the prestigious Relais & Châteaux brand until it shut its doors in 2022 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, the wonderful estate belongs to Drake. Whether the rapper will convert the haciendas into commercial properties is not mentioned. Still, one thing remains certain: Drake’s love for the ranches in Texas will now rest at the breathtaking 313-acre estate.
From the stunning tree-lined drive of pecan trees to the high hilltop, Dos Brisas offers views of scenic beauty that enthrall all around Texas country.
