The story begins on a weirdly happy note when Strawberry, a 7-year-old Juliana pig from Gill, Colorado, becomes an instant internet sensation after getting into her owner’s forgotten stash of beer. Known to be adventurous and crafty, she lives with her owner, Morgan Mullins, on a small hobby farm along with her best friend-a duck who is just as spirited. But it wasn’t her playful nature or even her duck companion that recently catapulted her to fame-it was her accidental “happy hour” in the garage.
On November 5, Mullins was summoned to the scene when Strawberry’s duck friend made enough loud noise outside.
Rushing to investigate, Mullins was greeted by a sight she could hardly believe: Strawberry stumbling and wobbling around the yard, surrounded by empty beer cans strewn across the garage floor. It would appear that Strawberry had discovered remnants of a 12-pack of beer left in the garage following a Fourth of July celebration, serving herself to a boozy feast. “When we found her, she was really out of it-stumbling, tipping over, just trying to keep her balance,” Mullins said. Seizing the moment, she grabbed her phone and recorded Strawberry’s antics, capturing the tipsy pig swaying and snuffling around with her usual curiosity, albeit in a much less coordinated manner. The video soon went viral on TikTok, reaching more than 2.7 million views as people enjoyed Strawberry’s escapade.

However, Mullins reassured fans and said she showed no lasting effects from her boozy binge. The following morning, she was her old spry self, trotting around the yard, even sniffing out a few more beer cans—a pretty sure indication that the experience hadn’t soured her on thrill-seeking altogether. As a special parting gift for her antics, Mullins gave Strawberry a bowl of tortilla chips, and the pig enjoyed it.
