Famouss Richard Exposes NBA Youngboy’s Secret Deal with the Feds!

Famous Richard has caused a stir with his new Instagram accusations, claiming that rapper NBA YoungBoy may have worked with federal authorities in order to receive an early prison release. Richard also implied that the possible cooperation could be connected to rapper Lil Durk, also known as “Smurk,” being jailed.

In an Instagram Story on March 25, 2025, Famous Richard speculated that NBA YoungBoy’s shorter jail time might not have been a coincidence. He stated that YoungBoy “probably the reason Smurk locked up,” wondering whether or not the rapper provided information to law enforcement in exchange for a reduced sentence. Richard also wondered how YoungBoy only served 10 months of a 23-month sentence, comparing it to his own experiences with the law.

Regardless of these explosive allegations, there is no tangible evidence to back up the claims. No court or law enforcement records have emerged connecting YoungBoy to any sort of collaboration with the authorities on Durk’s case.

NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, has also had his own share of run-ins with the law. Most recently, he was sentenced to 23 months in federal prison for gun possession as a convicted felon. Reports, however, indicate that he is to be released early on July 27, 2025, following a plea agreement on his federal gun charges in Utah. His record includes multiple arrests and charges, but no records officially state any activity involving cooperation with federal authorities.

Meanwhile, Lil Durk has some serious legal issues on his hands. The rapper has been indicted for his suspected role in a 2022 murder-for-hire plot in Los Angeles that left Quando Rondo’s cousin dead. The act is believed to be related to the longstanding beef between NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk. There is no public evidence to suggest YoungBoy was involved in Durk’s legal issues.

The feud between NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk has been one of the most well-documented rap feuds in recent history. The two have been rivals ever since the senseless 2020 killing of King Von, a friend of Lil Durk, who was shot and killed during a fight that also involved Quando Rondo, a friend of NBA YoungBoy. The incident ratcheted up tensions between the two camps, and the two rappers have spent the last several years trading diss tracks and arguing publicly.

NBA Youngboy Snitched On Lil Durk & OTF In Lul Pab Murder For Hire Case According To Famous Richard

A few of their most unforgettable moments of their rivalry include:

Diss Tracks: Lil Durk released “AHHH HA,” where he took shots at YoungBoy. YoungBoy responded with “I Hate YoungBoy,” targeting Durk, his fiancée India Royale, and others close to them.

Personal Drama: The beef intensified due to personal entanglements, including rumors of King Von’s previous relationship with YoungBoy’s ex-girlfriend, Jania Meshell.

Although Famous Richard’s claims went viral, there are no verified sources or police reports attributing YoungBoy’s freedom to Lil Durk’s incarceration. The hip-hop community remains divided, with some fans entertaining the possibility and others decrying it as baseless rumor.

On social media, responses were received with skepticism. A few of the fans noted that NBA YoungBoy’s sentencing and legal problems were highly publicized and followed the usual legal processes. Others brought up Richard’s own criminal history—he was allegedly indicted for possession of a firearm by a felon—implying that his words should be taken with skepticism.
