Fashion Nova, Meg Thee Stallion Support Black Trans Femme Artists

The LGBTQ community has achieved so much in the last few years, even in the face of chaos. However, there’s still much that needs to get done. For one, there’s a call for more representation of all sectors of the LGBTQ community.

In particular, the black trans women deserve more positive representation. Far too long, the media has spun stories of the heinous crimes committed against black trans people. All it has done is incited more hatred and disregard for the community. Luckily, organizations and huge public figures have started listening to their demands for change. In particular, Fashion Nova and Megan Thee Stallion showed support for the Black Trans Femme Artists Collective back in March.

As mentioned before, Fashion Nova celebrated the power of women in a big way back in March. There’s nothing more liberating than having a month dedicated entirely to women. During Women’s History Month, Fashion Nova partnered with Megan Thee Stallionto help launch their new female empowerment program called “Women On Top.”

Fashion Nova’s CEO and founder Richard Saghian shared that the brand has always strived for inclusivity and diversity. Moreover, they believe in the power of women. Moreover, Saghian stated in March, “Women empowerment, diversity, and inclusion have always been fundamental principles at Fashion Nova.”

Moreover, the “Women On Top” initiative will focus on supporting women-based institutions, foundations, and businesses. In doing so, they will offer these leading women scholarships, grants, and donations in the form of $25,000 or more. That’s quite a generous offer from the fashion house giant. It’s no wonder they have a reputation for doing good charitable work.

Clearly, Fashion Nova wants to make the world a better place. By giving more positive representation to marginalized communities they’re already on the right track. During their new initiative for Women’s History Month, the fashion house donated thousands of dollars to organizations that celebrated the power of women.

In particular, Fashion Nova awarded the Black Trans Femme Artists Collective a generous sum of $25,000. The organization itself “revolves around art production and preservation by Black trans nonbinary femmes and Black trans women.” The collective’s main mission has been to help provide the resources black trans women need to navigate society.

Furthermore, Fashion Nova issued a press release via Facebook about their generous donation to the organization. “At Fashion Nova, we believe every woman should have the chance to express themselves through art. However, we recognize that not all women have equal access to the necessary resources. We envision a better world where all women have the opportunity to reach their full potential,” expressed Saghian. It’s truly inspiring to hear such encouraging words from this fashion house.
