Flavor Flav is at it again—another sighting of celebs in the news for their purchases. Flavor Flav walked into Red Lobster and ordered everything. Sometime in June, he dropped in to show them some love and ordered everything on the entire menu, it has been reported. He then took it to insta. After he got his food, he shared his insane meal, showing a spread that could feed a football team.
Flavor Flav’s effort to save Red Lobster’s cherished Cheddar Bay Biscuits. He said:
“Ya boy meant it when I said I was gonna do anything and everything to help @redlobster and save the cheddar bay biscuits.”
He would be found posting an image of himself seated at two tables filled with a buffet of the chain’s products, from chips and calamari to the chain’s titular crustacean.
He did not enjoy the many menus alone to himself; he took the whole family there to have dinner. His daughter, Dazyna, also shared his shared image on her Instagram page to spread the message more. It is, for a fact, one noble cause from Flavor Flav to rescue Red Lobster from the financial turmoil that it finds itself in.
Red Lobster, a nationwide restaurant chain famous for seafood and cheddar bay biscuits, sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The news of bankruptcy hit on May 19, 2024. The company was struggling under several financial, as well as operational issues: difficult macroeconomic conditions, a bloated and underperforming restaurant footprint, failed or ill-chosen strategic initiatives, and competition that was on the rise inside the restaurant industry. This is the best way forward, according to Red Lobster CEO Jonathan Tibus.
