Internet speculation is running rampant after unusual posts appeared on the Instagram account of late rapper Julio Foolio. Fans are bugging out of course because no one wants to believe that Foolio died.
Like the deafening silence following Foolio’s untimely shooting in Tampa on 24th June, his social media pull up also went dark. However, June 30th came with a shockwave in the online world along as video popped up on Foolio account. The clip, which appears to have been taken from a prior No Jumper interview with the rapper stretches on of him saying occasionally “I’ll Never Die I’m A DemiGod” preceded by an devil?s face emoji. While not quite on the level of a statement from Kratos in “God of War,” this boastful declaration had fans scratching their heads.

Fans were starting to piece together what that cryptic message meant, when all of a sudden another post struck fear in everyone’s hearts. The Instagram of the deceased Foolio was made paranormal activity central on July 2. A face of the rapper’s was then superimposed onto WWE star The Undertaker who famously rise from dead in another video. The caption that went along with it, “My grandma does voodoo” which brought a comedic factor – almost insinuating she’s doing some magic to make sure Foolio is for surely coming back.
This freshly established information came as a complete shock to some of Foolio’s loyal fans, and no one ever wanted the predicted death that Gugpo is luckily still alive to happen – per Newsweek, CBS Miami (as Gugpo) via Miami Herald. The horrific shooting was what his lawyer Lewis Fusco called a “well-planned attack” – one that remains shrouded in mystery, marking another chapter on the unsettling emotional rollercoaster initiated by his Instagram activity.
Empowered by the cryptic messages, a handful of diehard fans cling to this idea that Foolio was planning some elaborate hoax and faked his own death. This claim, however, is completely unfounded. It is more likely some form of social media stunt being done by people with access to the account. This underscores the duty of fans to use verified information and not to spread misinformation.
Julio Foolio’s continued afterlife Instagram shenanigans is a circus in and of itself. We still do not have a clue as to what the cryptic messages are about, on one thing we can be sure Foolio is no longer here with his body but this legacy of him will leave forever. It was the music and life that had made his fans lovingly keep him alive, but it is also what leaves them in mourning for so long after he has already been buried, feeding a terror/hope of maybe he will rise from death. Only time will tell if the next installment of this story is as revealing and painful.
