It’s clear that Coolio’s music has impacted both old and new generations. The 90’s rapper has transcended over time, only getting better with age. Unfortunately, the legend left the rap community too soon this past Wednesday.

CNN reported that firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a 911 call at the 2900th block of South Chesapeake Ave. at 4pm for a medical emergency.

Unfortunately, when authorities arrived on the scene, they found an unresponsive male. Furthermore, they performed resuscitation efforts on Coolio for 45 minutes, but there’d been no response. The legendary rapper died at 5pm this Wednesday. Moreover his friend and manager, Jarez Posey, was the first to report to CNN that Coolio passed away. Making matters worse, the autopsy did little to reveal the cause of death. Though, the County Coroner assured us that a further investigation will be done.
