Aldy Damian has led Accredas Investments to some notable milestones in the real estate industry, including the acquisition of the Arlington, Texas branch of Sun Auto & Tire, leading to a total of over 1.1 million square feet of commercial real estate. During his tenure as CEO, Accredas Investments has also acquired commercial properties such as Dick’s Sporting Goods in Topeka, Kansas, Firestone Complete Auto Care in Lenexa, Kansas, and the Raytheon Missile Defense and R&D HQ in Tucson, Arizona.
Many who are aware of Aldy Damian’s accomplishments in the real estate industry may not be aware of his past as an influential executive in the entertainment industry with ties to brands such as Pepsi and record labels such as the iconic Death Row Records, famous for signing artists such as Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, MC Hammer, Tha Dogg Pound, and Dr. Dre. Damian’s career as a music executive began after he founded Damian Productions, a recording studio that became the first studio to use the beta digital 24-track recording system known as RADAR (Random Access Digital Audio Recorder) released by Otari Incorporated.
Aldy Damian also founded the record labels Damian Music and D3 Entertainment. Through these companies, Damian landed distribution deals with BMG Music and Death Row Records, distributing music by artists including the aforementioned Snoop Dogg, along with Coolio, Insane Clown Posse, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Damian Music was also known for releasing the dance music compilation album series The Dance Box, as well as licensed compilation albums in collaboration with brands such as the Pepsi-Cola Company, CMT, and TNN. D3 Entertainment also released songs from country music legends such as Kenny Rogers, Patsy Cline, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson.
Aldy Damian continued to serve as president of D3 Entertainment after its purchase by Navarre Distributors, before eventually working alongside well-respected entertainment industry executives Irv Holender and Jay Boberg as Vice-President of Liberation Entertainment, where he licensed film and television projects, including The Invisible Man, Daniel Boone, and PBS’s Soundstage. Damian transitioned into a full-time career in comercial real estate after the purchase of Liberation Entertainment by Camelot Entertainment Group.
Aldy Damian credits his experiences of writing contracts and developing relationships in the entertainment industry with teaching him the skills necessary for creating mutually beneficial agreements in the real estate industry. “The most important lesson the music industry taught me is that you must enter into mutually beneficial contractual agreements,” he said. “To build an independent company with just pure grit requires daily tenacity while making sure your relationships flourish from the deals you exchange.”
By using the lessons learned from decades in the entertainment industry, Aldy Damian has built a successful and growing real estate business. Accredas Investments continues to thrive as a commercial real estate investment advisory and marketing and finance company, and it shows no signs of slowing down in the foreseeable future.
