Bronx-Born Firecracker Ice Spice Drops Debut Album “Y2K” on July 26th
Global music scene fire-starter and contender for next-gen New York rap queen, Ice Spice, finally unveils today her debut album, Y2K where she sparks the Bronx up on July 26, 2024. The name Ice Spice was a clever reference to her birthdate on January 1, 2000, it represented her birth into the new millennium.
Fueled in large part by the phenomenal success of the album’s lead singles, an air crackles with anticipation for “Y2K.” One of those tracks is “Gimmie A Light” a sample of the iconic Sean Paul hit, “Gimme the Light.” The equally infectious, controversial “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” only helped to cement Ice Spice as a fearless MC and showman.
