From now on, kiss goodbye to flat-pack furniture frustration and that infinite real-life IKEA store labyrinth. But rather than just perusing digital KALLAX shelves you can get paid to play IKEA employee!

While The Co-Worker Game does pay you (in Robux of course), it also pays you in more ways than you might think. This virtual store has exactly the career ladder of a real IKEA. Consider yourself a nonpareil in the kitchen? Get noticed as the Virtual Meatball Specialist at the hot Bistro! Maybe you are talented in interior designing? Flex those sales skills like a true Showroom superstar by leading players through the maze of virtual furniture.
If you still wish to apply (spoiler alert: applications are now closed), have no fear! The online shop will have its official launch on the 24th of June. Roblox fans, save the date for this landmark test of how brands can connect with kids!
Why is this such a big deal? It’s a stroke of genius. The virtual storefront is a great way for IKEA to show as many (albeit digital)of its products while also showing off a very playful work culture. Just getting creative, having fun and maybe even learning a virtual interior design trick or two position!
Get rid of those Allen wrenches, and fire up your gamepads. Visit Roblox on June 24 and discover the only unique virtual store by IKEA. You just may find you have a new way to “work,” full of play and (virtual) meatballs! Who knows, it might even plant the seed of an interest in perhaps entering the future world of furniture, home design for real.
