Owning up to our mistakes is the hardest thing to do for most people. When we’re wrong, we’ve messed up. Joe Budden recently made some unpopular comments regarding Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez’s trial. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, Joe Budden’s commentary landed him in some hot water with fans and even celebrities like Vivica A. Fox. Now the retired rapper goes back on his words and admits that he’s wrong.
It Takes A Big Person To Admit They’re Wrong
Recently, Joe Budden found himself on the wrong side of things after publicly expressing his dislike for Megan Thee Stallion amid her case. Though, the backlash from fans was enough to make the podcast host finally change his tune.
During a recent episode on the Joe Budden Podcast, the “Pump It Up” rapper shared with fans that he’s wrong for commending Stallion. In particular, he apologized for the way he joked about the rapper’s mental health throughout the case. While Joe Budden issued a public apology to the star, he also mentioned that he’s aware that he “can’t afford to be wrong.” It’s interesting how quickly the podcast host changed his tune, especially after fans put him in the dog house.
Joe Budden Apologizes To All The Women
Not only did Joe Budden apologize to Megan Thee Stallion, but he also did so to other women. During the rest of the episode, Budden noted that he received a few phone calls from his female friends after making his harsh comment about Stallion. Additionally, he revealed that he didn’t want to offend his female fanbase. Joe Budden may not personally like Megan Thee Stallion, but clearly can’t risk making controversial comments about her on the air.
