Several high-profile K-Pop idols are now named as being members of an online sex group chat.
All equally shared sexually explicit videos of women being filmed without their knowledge or consent, according to CNN. Thursday, police announced that about 10 people were members of the secret chat. This chat included Big Bang’s Seungri, singer-songwriter Jung Joon-young, and F.T. Island member Choi Jong-hoon.
In a recent update involving Seungri, Investigators looked more into the K-Pop idol’s suspicion on supplying prostitutes for businessmen at a high-end Gangnam night club. Seungri denies all accusations against him, although the statements to the press from investigators say they found evidence in his phone of signs of “pimping.”
Police say many of participants in the chatroom were sharing hidden camera footage of sex with drugged and unconscious women. Korean broadcaster SBS showed leaked text exchanges, which includes Jung Joon-young responding to a video of one of the unconscious women by texting, “You raped her, LOL.”
Jung is cooperating with the police and related the following statement:
“I admit to all my crimes. I filmed women without their consent and shared it in a social media chatroom, and while I did so I didn’t feel a great sense of guilt… More than anything, I kneel and apologize to the women who appear in the videos who have learned of this hideous truth as the incident has come to light.”
The other men who have apologized suddenly retired from the industry due to public shame.

School curriculum even teaches that victims are to blame for their assault. Combined, these factors feed a widespread spycam porn epidemic that’s gone on for years. Tiny hidden cameras secretly film women in dressing rooms, bathrooms, and even public places like subway stations.
In conclusion, we can say these K-pop stars are far from the squeaky clean image. The allegations in this growing sex scandal threatens to weaken South Korea’s multibillion-dollar industry.
