Kodak Black’s Team Kept Him Sober Ahead of Rolling Loud Performance
Despite being one of the most controversial artists in the Hip-Hop community, Kodak Black has been known to do some good things occasionally, regardless of his past trial. As such, his team needed to ensure he was as sober as possible before performing at Rolling Loud.
According to TMZ, a team of people had to be kept in place while Black was in Los Angeles for the event. This included a doctor who monitored his diet and someone designated to be by his side at all times. This was a huge help for Black, who wanted to keep his mind focused on the music instead of the drugs.
The rapper’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, tells TMZ that Black was in Los Angeles to avoid bad influences and was careful not to let them affect his performance at Rolling Loud. This also included a lot of work from his team, who ensured he was surrounded by positive people, not those who could hurt him.
He also had a GPS ankle monitor on when performing, which was important to ensure he wasn’t doing anything wrong. Fortunately, Kodak Black could perform his set at Rolling Loud without issues.
Earlier in the day, Kendrick Lamar made an appearance onstage and ran through a slew of songs from Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, including “N95,” “Count Me Out,” and “Savior.” He even invited Baby Keem on stage to perform the hit collaboration “Family Ties,” released in 2021.
Kendrick also took the time to thank Kodak Black for his contribution to Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers on the track “Leave Lonely.”
With a successful Rolling Loud performance behind him, Kodak is now focused on getting the proper treatment in rehab, and we hope that he will continue to have a long and fruitful career.
