Pop icon Kylie Minogue releases her long-awaited 17th studio album entitled Tension II; this is in succession from her success with the album Tension In 2023, which dauntedly reigned again in the dance and electronic music world.
The said album consists of 13 tracks plus some exciting collaborations with an array of star-studded artists. It is to be preceded by a single titled “Lights Camera Action” released on September 27, 2024.
Features include The Blessed Madonna on “Edge of Saturday Night,” Bebe Rexha featuring on “My Oh My,” Orville Peck on “Midnight Ride” with Diplo, and Sia on “Dance Alone.”
This cast of stars surely promises to add new sparkle to Kylie’s latest undertaking and cements her reign as pop royalty. Tension II will also most probably carry similar themes to its predecessor in terms of sound, going deeper into the insights of dance beats and electric rhythms which have carved much of her recent work. Kylie Minogue provides Tension II, but the music isn’t all; the fans should also prepare themselves for a world tour in support of the new album in 2025. It kicks off in Australia this February and then goes on to the UK and Asia, onward.
