One would like to think that many can win and lose in a sane manner. However, Monday night, the Las Vegas Raiders took on the Kansas City Chiefs, and this same sentiment proved not to be the case.
While we’ve seen athletes have meltdowns and express their emotions before and after the game, this appeared to be different.
Davante Adams is a respected player around the NFL for not just his talent but also his character.
After Monday night, suffering a tough loss within the last seconds of the game. He began a temper tantrum that blew over toward his exit from the game.
That’s a $100,000+ shove by Devante Adams. Fine incoming. pic.twitter.com/kbf625fO1O

A cameraman happen to run in front of him or get in his way, and with his emotional state, he acted irrationally.
He shoved the cameraman injuring him and his equipment. Later, Davante Adams realized his actions were despicable and apologized via Twitter.
I apologize to the person I pushed over after the game. I was very frustrated with how the game ended and reacted impulsively when they ran in front of me as I left. I felt terrible immediately afterward.
This behavior is not typical of me. I hope the person I pushed sees this message and accepts my apologies.
Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran infront of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this.

Are Athletes Too Emotional at Times?
This isn’t new by any means for athletes; however, does that mean there’s a problem?
Many become conflicted with athletes showing emotion because too much of it can be catastrophic, but not enough it can make the sport boring.
While Adams expressed his emotions in a negative way, this can be spun into a much bigger conversation.
Often, when white athletes get emotional or express themselves in a negative or positive light, it’s digested differently.
The media plays a huge part in these athletes’ careers, and sometimes the media will shed light on an athlete’s lowest moments, especially black athletes.
