Lecrae Installs Portable Handwashing stations in Atlanta

Over the past few weeks, the coronavirus has had a significant impact on people’s lives and the media. Everyone is striving to combat the virus and return to normalcy. Whether you’re an average person or an A-list Hollywood celebrity, anyone can contract this virus, which is what makes the situation so frightening. People worldwide are stepping up to fight this pandemic. Amidst this crisis, one important issue that often goes unaddressed is how the homeless population will combat this epidemic without access to necessary resources. Thankfully, rapper Lecrae has offered a solution to help the homeless in Atlanta maintain sanitation.

Lecrae has partnered with the nonprofit organization Love Beyond Walls to support the homeless community in Atlanta during the coronavirus outbreak. Portable hand washing stations have been constructed throughout the city since March 19th, providing a fighting chance against the virus on the streets. Each station can hold approximately 5 gallons of water and is equipped with soap dispensers. Hopefully, other cities will follow Lecrae’s example and assist their homeless population.
