Lil Kim’s Electrifying Halftime Performance Sparks New York Liberty to Victory in WNBA Finals

During Sunday’s game at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, the legend hit the stage during the WNBA Finals to perform a few of her classic hits. Lil Kim rocked the Barclays Center with some backup dancers and the team’s mascot. She performed songs like “Lighters Up” and a medley of her most popular singles.

New York Liberty‘s WNBA Finals series with the Las Vegas Aces is a lopsided one to say the least. Lil Kim’s energetic performance at halftime helped turn things around. Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones each tallied 20 points.

The team wrapped up a win that tied their best-of-five series at two games apiece. The 49-year-old rap legend took the time to show some love to the fans in attendance. This includes NBA Hall of Famer Tony Parker, coach Dawn Staley, and actor Jason Sudeikis.

As well as actress Robin Roberts, music producer Swizz Beatz and former WNBA star Sue Bird. On top of Lil Kim’s vibrant halftime performance, 20-year-old American Sign Language interpreter Justina Miles also made headlines. She turned heads for her rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” during the pre-game ceremony.

Miles’ impressive skills gained her a lot of attention online. This could be one reason why she was invited to the WNBA game. Last month, the young spitter dropped her first single in 10 years titled “Sexy Back.”

Earlier this week, she made an unexpected exit from reality television show Dancing With the Stars after failing to win over TV viewers with her waltz with professional dance partner Derek Hough.
