It doesn’t take much to make it as an overnight mega success these days. Rappers Lil Nas X and Lizzo both are successors to the hip-hop musical throne. With the release of tracks like “Truth Hurts” and “Old Town Road”, they became instant platinum selling artists. At the 2019 Grammys, they showed off their mega stardom by performing their biggest tracks. In addition to giving explosive performances that night, the two rap stars had an even better time after the Grammys. Lil Nas X reveals that he and bestie Lizzo had a little “after party” foray at a local strip club.
A Night Out At The Strip Club
Celebrity after parties can get pretty wild. Photos taken from red-carpet events like the Oscars-After-Party or the BET Awards are a clear indication of the level craziness that goes on at these gatherings. Lil Nas X didn’t hold back any details when sharing the scoop on his wild night out with Lizzo after the Grammys.
During an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, the “Rodeo” rapper revealed that he and Lizzo went to a strip club to celebrate. “That was a pretty great time. They were playing our songs and stripping. It was a crazy night,” the Lil Nas X told Fallon. What better way to wrap up “Music’s Biggest Night” than partying at a strip club.
Lizzo & Lil Nas X Dominated The 2019 Grammys
Most new and upcoming artists don’t get the recognition they deserve. Entertainers who’ve worked in the music for years aren’t even recognized by the Music Academy Awards. While emcees Lizzo and Lil Nas X aren’t the best in the music industry, they are revolutionary in their style and flow. The rap stars unique artistry especially scored them big wins at the 2019 Grammys. While Lizzo took home 3 wins that year, Lil Nas X walked away with 2 trophies for Best Pop Duo and Best Music Video for his hit record “Old Town Road.” According to the Recording Industry Association of America, the hit single went platinum 14 times on January 9th. Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” is regarded as one of the highest certified singles ever made. Two years later and the rapper is still killing the music scene.
