Lil Nas X and DJ Zedd ignored a property owner’s request that they not party at his swanky Hollywood Hills home, then trashed the place after a massive bash – at least according to a new lawsuit. The “Old Town Road” singer and celebrity DJ is among the defendants in the suit filed by Daniel Fitzgerald, who owns a slew of luxury homes in the hills.
He claims the parties rankled neighbors and got him into hot water with local authorities – in addition to causing more than $25,000 in physical damage to the house, including chairs, sofas, walls, and ceilings after which he files a case on DJ Zedd & Lil Nas house party lawsuit after a party bash. The landlord also lost $40,000 in rental fees that he could have collected in the month that repairs were made in the wake of the party.
Fitzgerald says he told the tenants that they were not allowed to host parties on his property – yet they went ahead and had a big bash where Zedd was paid to spin tunes for the revelers. He wants the two entertainers and party sponsors and promoters to pay him at least $1 million in compensatory and punitive damages.
The event also featured an FTX Ferris Wheel; a Wynn Nightlife VIP experience; and a Taste of Los Angeles with food from Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles, Pink’s Hot Dogs, Diddy Riese, Meat District butcher-crafted premium burgers, Daring Foods plant-based chicken, Papa John’s pizza and KazuNori: The Original Hand Roll Bar.
