A lawsuit has been filed against Lil Wayne by his ex-private chef, Morghan Medlock, alleging that she was terminated from her position after taking time off to care for her ill child. She claims that Weezy was retaliating against her and violated California law when he fired her.
Medlock worked as the private chef for Wayne for more than a year. She says she was coordinating all of his menus daily and that she also traveled with him on business trips.
She was on a trip to Vegas with the rapper over Memorial Day when she got a message about her 10-year-old son’s head injury that left him hospitalized. According to legal documents reviewed by TMZ, she made the decision to promptly return home, opting for a separate flight and informing Wayne’s assistant about the urgency of the situation, expecting them to comprehend.
After she dealt with her son, she tried to resume her work but claims she was pushed back by members of the Young Money camp. She eventually received a “goodbye” text from someone on the team before she was formally told that she was fired.

Eventually she opted to fly home on her own, and she said she was given “the cold shoulder” by Weezy and his team, before getting a formal message telling her that she was being let go.

According to the suit, she was contacted by Lil Wayne’s assistant and was told that she was being let go. She was also told to “tell Chef Morghan this isn’t going to work.”
