The artist known as Zende, brings light to what is always a common issue for millennials and generation Z far too often. What are we?, Zende is a 20 year old rapper/songwriter from Pittsburgh, PA. Coming from the Hazelwood area Zendé isn’t your typical Pittsburgh rapper, approaching music differently than his peers.
Whether it’s mixing catchy punchlines, lovey-dovey lyrics, or making songs about brown skin women, he’s taken Pittsburgh by storm with songs like Cherry Cola, Brownskin, and Decline just to name a few. He’s performed at the same festivals of Wutang clan, Bishop Nehru, Rico Nasty, and Masego, 2016 Was a big year for him he performed at two music festivals which were the Three Rivers art festival.
He’s worked with producers like E.Dan, Dru Tang, and Christo. In 2017 he dropped his debut EP titled “Zentendo” including tracks like Brownskin with Social House’s very own Scootie and the Monte Booker produced track Blah Blah. Zende is currently prepping the release of his debut Mixtape “Oakland “ following up his 3 latest singles the YourFavoriteProducer produced Stuck On Me, Glide (Ft Saige), and Girlfriend (Ft Linwood).
