If listeners want something new on their playlist, they should definitely tune into London-based artist RaysMuzik. He’s gained the reputation for being one of the UK’s fastest rising stars to come out of London’s afrobeats scene. His underground tracks “For You” and “Badda Man” have put him on the map. Clearly, the man has made some serious waves in the UK.
Not to mention, he works as both a songwriter and singer, crafting infectious afrofusion music that mixes afrobeats, dancehall, HipHop and R&B music into an appeasing blend. With so much talent, it’s hard to keep quiet about it. RaysMuzik has already caught the eye of several publications such as The FADER, Complex, and BBC 1Xtra. Clearly, the London-based artist has a lot going for him.
Recently, the up-and-coming artist dropped his newest record “YKTVBZ.” In the song, RaysMuzik just wants everyone to have a good time and party hard.
He’s The Life Of The Party
London-based artist RaysMuzik definitely knows how to get the party started. Furthermore, the newcomer’s latest track “YKTVBV” isn’t the usual party anthem we’d be expecting, especially given the title name. It hinges on the more innovative side of music. Nonetheless, we can’t always judge a book by its cover. The track finds the artist ready to party all night until the early morning. Additionally, the song comes as a summer party anthem. However, the summer season has come to a dauntingly quick close. In any case, though, we could all use a little more sunshine.

Clearly, RaysMuzik isn’t writing any “Summertime Sadness” songs. In talks about “YKTVBV,” he explained that the inspiration behind the song stems from wanting people around the world to treat life like a huge party.
“The most amazing thing about this record was that we didn’t make it in a conventional way,” the London-based artist notes. The title of the song definitely speaks to that sentiment. Furthermore, RaysMuzik revealed that him and his collaborators met at a friend’s house to record the song in less than an hour. Clearly, the artist had just as much fun producing the song, too.
Clearly, RayMuzik wants to get those creative juices flowing, right before he drops his debut mixtape Night Owl. Be sure to check out more music by RaysMuzik.
