Watch out, world. Master P has plans to be the money and brains behind the first Black-owned supercar. The rapper and entrepreneur took to Instagram to announce that he is teaming up with an ex-Tesla engineer to make it happen.
“On January 18th, Master P celebrated MLK Day by honoring all the big dreamers, including #RichardPatterson, the CEO of Trion, America’s first black-owned supercar manufacturer. Patterson, a former Tesla engineer who played a key role in designing the Model S, also contributed to the landing gear of the Boeing 777 and the folding seats system in the Dodge Minivan. Now, he’s making his mark with his own supercar creation, the Nemesis RR. His achievements bring diversity to the automotive industry and inspire a culture of dreamers.”
P stated, “This is history. We’ve made significant progress to be part of innovative technology, manufacturing, and owning vehicles made by us.” Master P, also known as Percy Miller, captioned the video featuring Patterson and his son, rapper/actor Romeo Miller.
