With so many new and upcoming stars flooding the already overcrowded-rap scene, it’s hard to keep up with all of them. Even artists themselves find it difficult to keep up with industry standards. Megan Thee Stallion has always stayed on top of her rap game. Even with chart-topping singles like “Big Ole Freak” and “Hot Girl Summer”, Megan Thee Stallion still kept the wheels of success spinning.
At just 26-year-old, the rapper has already amassed millions from her fiery hit singles and numerous features. After accomplishing so much in just a few short years, the star has decided to take a hiatus. Recently, Megan Thee Stallion took to social media to reveal her plans to “recharge” for phase two of her career.
Megan Thee Stallion’s Success
It goes without saying that the rap community has plenty of talented artists to offer. Each upcoming entertainer brings something new to the table every time. Critics have credited Megan Thee Stallion for her ability to spit fiery bars at rapid speed with precision. Additionally, her rap style pays an ode to the rap battles of the “olden” days. Given that her mother had been a rapper, Stallion clearly learned from the best. However, even the greatest of rappers need to take a break every once and a while.
Megan Thee Stallion has been on a rollcoaster of a ride for the last few years. The Dallas rapper has released tons of hit singles, crafted her first full album, appeared on several features and has even taken home 3 Grammy awards. Anyone in their right mind would be exhausted.
Megan Thee Stallion’s Plans To Recharge
After turning winning so many times, it makes sense that Megan Thee Stallion would want to escape the limelight for a while. That’s why the 26-year-old has decided to take a temporarily leave of absence. The Hottie Life Coach recently took to Instagram to share with fans that she has to “recharge” before entering the next phase of her career.
For the last few days, the “Cry Baby” rapper has teased fans with futuristic and sci-fi themed videos of herself. In one video, the star shows a close-up video of herself in a sleek, out-of-this-world oxygen mask. Two others show the star in a crypto chamber in a digitally animated scenery. In the last video, a message appears on the futuristic message board, telling fans that the star plans to take a hiatus and recharge. Furthermore, Megan Thee Stallion took to her other social media handles to share with fans that “I’ll come back when it’s time,” with a fire emoji. We can literarily hear the sad violins playing right now as fans throw a fit. Hopefully, her hiatus won’t last too long.
