This past weekend the NCAA was not represented as well as they should be by the Michigan Wolverines, as well as, the Michigan State Spartans. A fallout began to occur after the game was concluded, however, this scuffle appeared to be one-sided. As a result, several of the Spartan’s players have been suspended and there are more to come, according to Daniel Chavkin for Sports Illustrated.

Naturally, Michigan HC John Harbaugh wasn’t too thrilled to find this information out and immediately expressed his frustration with the media. Harbaugh went on to label the altercation an” assault”. He later said he “can’t imagine that this will not result in criminal charges.”
While this may have been a bit dramatic, he’s in the right for being upset. Michigan State didn’t condone the behavior after the game either and decided to release a statement and punish the players who participated in the altercation.
“As we continue to gather and review electronic evidence of the altercations between Michigan State and the University of Michigan student-athletes on October 29, 2022, we are suspending student-athletes Malcolm Jones, Justin White, Jacoby Windham, and Brandon Wright,” the school wrote in a statement. “The suspensions are effective immediately.”

In fact, throughout the video, it appears someone struck him with a helmet. As a result, Green’s decision to press charges against the team and the gentlemen involved in the altercation.
At the moment, Michigan State has suspended: Tank Brown, Khary Crump, Angelo Grose, and Zion Young.
