Recently, Milwaukee Bucks star PF Giannis Antetokounmpo has put the legendary WWE wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on blast. While it appears to be all in fun, “The Rock” did respond with more friendly banter.
It’s no secret Antetokounmpo is one of the most dynamic and dominating basketball players we’ve witnessed ever. However, maybe he bit off more than he can chew possibility.
In an interview, Giannis Antetokounmpo states that he believes “he’d kill him[The Rock]”. He even references one of The Rock’s most famous sayings: “Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?”
"I smell what @TheRock is cookin! Big fan."

Again, this was all done in good fun and an antic to help bring Dwayne Johnson’s popular show “Iron Giant” to Milwaukee. Antetokounmpo and Pat Connaughton asked Johnson to visit Milwaukee on their Instagrams. However, the Rock responded in all fun and wants to connect with Antetokounmpo.
“I’d kill him”
“I admire this guy,” The Rock tweeted. “That’s why he’s such a beast in the NBA, and the Bucks are on top in the East. But don’t worry; we’re just talking about having a friendly workout and enjoying some tequila afterward. No need for any aggression, my friend!”
“I’d kill him” 😂👊🏾
Love this dude. It’s why he’s an @NBA beast & the Bucks are #1 in the E.
But you don’t want this smoke, cuz I will slap your lips off into next week, son.
And by that I mean, let’s just get a workout in and enjoy some tequila after 😂🙏🏾👊🏾. https://t.co/gZcElqPYLd— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) January 5, 2019
