Motown Records signs triple-threat recording artist Cam Wallace. The legendary label revealed the new signing on Instagram, with the caption “We are proud to welcome the multi-talented @camiam4ever to the Motown family.” Check out the official post below.
Following the post, Motown’s executives celebrated to news praising the rising star in an official press release. “Cam is a unique talent who excels in rapping, singing, producing, engineering, and mixing at a high level,” said Shawn Barron, Vice President of A&R at Motown Records.
Cam Wallace is best known for his production/songwriting work with Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Slim Thug, Rock City, and Lecrae. Before the deal, his latest single “Retail” was the breakout performance that blimped him onto mainstream radars. And with the announcement, Wallace gifted fans with a new visual to the Drake/Rick Ross freestyle “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” from Drake’s Scary Hours 2.
Now signed, for Wallace, the first order of business is to prepare for a full-length debut. “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” prepares for an ideal 2021 album — which expects its first single release in the coming weeks. For daily updates and more, follow Cam Wallace on Instagram.

Cameron “Cam” Wallace, a seasoned songwriter, producer, and recording artist, hails from the Northside of Houston. He was inspired by the chopped and screwed scene pioneered by the late DJ Screw, as well as his dad’s vinyl collection and artists like Timbaland, Pharrell, and Missy Elliott from Virginia.
