These days, Ye has managed to make himself an enemy. The rapper’s lack of filter and sensibility has caused him to alienate nearly everyone. Despite this, he still has a few people who support him.
NBA YoungBoy recently released a new song expressing his backing of Ye. It’s a silver lining for Ye, knowing he has someone in his corner.
NBA YoungBoy Supports Ye & Stands Firm
Every new rapper has their idols, and despite Ye’s social media antics and controversial statements, he still has fans who admire him. Admittedly, the guy has gone off the rails, but he maintains a loyal fanbase. Surprisingly, there are even a few celebrities who continue to look up to and support him, even during his low points.
NBA YoungBoy recently made it clear that he stands by Kanye West no matter what he says or does. In his new eight-minute track, “This Not a Song, This for My Supporters,” NBA YoungBoy encourages Ye to remain steadfast.
“It hurt my heart that Kanye let those people break his soul. How did that happen? Stay at home! Hold your ground, you’re strong!” he raps in the song. It’s evident that NBA YoungBoy is a die-hard fan of Ye.
Ye’s Controversial Remarks
NBA YoungBoy’s song comes in the wake of Ye’s recent antisemitic comments, where he expressed admiration for Hitler. During an interview with Alex Jones on his InfoWars talk show, Ye admitted his support for both Jewish people and the Nazis.
Ye went as far as to claim that Hitler did some positive things for the world, such as inventing highways and the microphone. The uncomfortable reaction of Jones reflects the sentiments anyone with even a shred of intelligence would have. To make matters worse, Ye argued that we should love Hitler instead of condemning him. It remains to be seen if NBA YoungBoy can stand by that statement.
