Lovebirds Ashanti and Nelly are going to have a baby! Ashanti recently uploaded a lovely video on Instagram in which she informed Nelly about the news using Facetime. Nelly’s reply is priceless, and it so well reflects the fun energy around him and rekindles this lovely romance.
Nelly and Ashanti’s relationship is a love story like no other. They met for the first time in 2003 at a Grammy Awards press conference and their relationship lasted for years. Although they maintained their relationship as confidential as possible during the mid-2000s, the spark between them was still clear to the fans. After being apart, the couple unexpectedly reunited ten years later while on stage during Ja Rule and Fat Joe’s Verzuz battle in 2021. In September 2023, 10 years later, the couple officially reunited, causing shockwaves in the music world. As Ashanti states in the 2022 hit song Falling For You 2022, “sometimes love comes when you’re least expecting it.”
