Lil Gotit Unleashes Hood Baby 2 Mixtape via Alamo Records
The 20-year-old rapper takes his game to the next level with an impressive 18-track mixtape, featuring appearances from Gunna, Lil Yachty, Guap Tarantino, and more.
With his unique approach to trap beats and distinctive vocals, Lil Gotit represents the new wave of Atlanta trap. He tightens up his rhymes and explores a range of flows on his latest release, Hood Baby 2. As the sequel to his 2018 debut mixtape that marked him as a rising star in his hometown, this new project demonstrates Lil Gotit’s artistic growth. His flows hit harder, his ad-libs are wilder, and his success continues to grow. Across the 18 tracks, Lil Gotit showcases his versatility, displaying his singing abilities on “Trap Or Die” and experimenting with overlapping flows on the opening track, “Bricks In The Attic,” which has found its way onto Spotify’s esteemed Most Necessary and Off The Strength playlists. Additionally, he channels the early trap style of T.I. with the energetic banger “Hood Talk.”
Hood Baby 2 is a crowning achievement for Lil Gotit, as he collaborates with some of Atlanta’s biggest stars, including Future, Gunna, and Lil Yachty, who all join forces to welcome him to the ATL’s A-List. The mixtape also features multiple appearances from Lil Gotit’s brother and fellow rising artist Lil Keed, with whom he shares an undeniable chemistry. With additional contributions from Guap Tarantino, SG Kendall, Uno Freaky, RJ Jaydog, and B Slime, Hood Baby 2 is now available via Alamo Records.

This 11-track mixtape showcases Lil Gotit’s vocal prowess, highlighted by standout tracks like the rapid-fire, Latin-infused “Argentina,” the smooth and falsetto-laden “Freak B*tches,” and the infectious lead single “Bet Up” (amassing an impressive 2.7 million YouTube views). Not to mention the visually captivating video single “Free Melly” with its mesmerizing 646k views.
