In a recent interview with Big Boy on the Off Air Series, Blacc Sam, Nipsey Hussle’s brother, detailed the events and failures in protocol regarding the eventual murder of Nipsey at The Marathon Clothing store.
Blacc Sam explained that when Nipsey Hussle came into the store, there was, in fact, protocol for security that wasn’t followed on that fateful day. Typically, there would be someone from his team, usually Blacc Sam himself, posted at the door with a hoodie on and armed. However, on the day of the murder, no one had been positioned in the doorway where they should have been. Blacc Sam figured that possibly the team had become preoccupied with servicing customers in an attempt to transition to legitimate business activities such as selling clothes.
Blacc Sam said he felt that the killing was premeditated and perhaps was not even ordered or conducted by Eric Holder, who was convicted for the murder of Nipsey Hussle. Blacc Sam explained a man came to the area first shirtless and must have scouted the area before returning in a red shirt, which rarely happened in that part of town and thus could have been worn as part of a disguise. Sam theorized that the attire was worn to mislead or disguise the killer.
For any who do not know, Eric Ronald Holder, Jr., the killer of Nipsey Hussle was sentenced to 60 years life in prison on February 22, 2023. There was a count for murder which was 25-to-life, using a gun 25-to-life additional, and 10 years for the shooting of two other men that same day.
