OG’s Blak Madeen Release New “Free The Dome” Visual

Dynamic duo Blak Madeen (Al-J & Yusuf Abdul-Mateen) return to the scene with a funky, fresh new video for their “Free The Dome” single. As this single appears on their latest album Let The Good Get Even, it is clear as to why two pair felt it necessary to visually put into action their artistic expression.

Directed by Sando Films, you will see Al-J & Yusuf Abdul-Mateen, looking like OG’s spitting effortlessly. They are bringing back that old school rap that broke onto the music scene in the 80’s. It is good to see real rap still being generated during the age of social media.

The Let The Good Get Even project begins with “Free The Dome,” featuring an incredible lineup of talented artists including Chuck D, Freeway, Sadat X, Tragedy Khadafi, Blacastan, El Da Sensei, Daddy-O, and others.

The most impressive things about this release is the memorable punchlines, deep lyrical content and the scratch chorus that set the tone for the entire project. “Straight Hip Hop” is the best way Yusuf describes this new release. “Free your mind from the constraints that hold you back in every aspect,” says Al-J. M.
