Peloton and Beyoncé partnership
Peloton is partnering with one of the hottest, fit stars – Beyoncé. The fitness company offers interactive fitness through its sale of treadmills and spin bikes.
According to Peloton, Queen Bey holds the crown for most requested artist among 3 million+ users.
Fitness deal benefits HBCUs
Both parties believed that the collaboration is a good fit. The company announced a multiyear deal with Beyoncé on Tuesday. The deal will include a series of themed workouts, which can be found on the Peloton app. The featured workouts will include cycling, running, strength, bootcamp, yoga and meditation.
Beyoncé seems exciting about what the partnership will offer.
“Beyoncé and Peloton both believe music has the power to uplift and inspire during fitness journeys,” said Beyoncé in a statement. “As a long-time Peloton member, I’m thrilled to partner with a company that helps people of all ages become their best selves in an innovative and flexible way.”
In addition, Peloton and Beyoncé announced plans to give free two-year digital memberships to students at 10 HBCUs. Their goal is to commit to building long-term recruiting partnerships to bring in new talent.
As a result of the staggering pandemic, at-home workouts have been in high demand. Peloton has seen major gains since March. The company has reported a spike in company purchases. There were subsequent delays of bike deliveries to new users—and soaring stock as well.
This news should inspire you to become more active with interactive fitness. Or to get your spin on like Beyoncé.
