The United States was built on the foundation of freedom and free will. While some American citizens may disagree, others wholeheartedly love this country. In fact, some downright preach Patriotism to a live audience. Now that’s serious love for the United States. Recently, Cuban-American rapper Pitbull praised the country during one of his live concerts. Clearly, Mr. Worldwide has nothing but mad love for the U.S.
Pitbull Becomes Very Passionate About His Love For The United States
Pitbull’s love for the United States goes way beyond the usual American citizen’s declaration to the country. In fact, Mr. Worldwide basically told those who disliked the United States to take a hike.
During a live concert, Pitbull not only praised the United States but he also condemned those that didn’t do the same. “To anyone who doesn’t like the United States of America, may God bless you, but also have some strong words for you,” the rapper, originally from Cuba, conveyed to his audience. No doubt the star loves the United States. He went on to tell his fans, “If you don’t like the United States of America, go back to the countries that we the f— from, and you’ll see how much you appreciate the United States of America.” According to Pitbull, American citizens should be more appreciative of the country they live in.
His Love For The U.S Runs Deep
Clearly, the rapper feels overtly passionate about the United States. Though, his love for the country runs deeper than just surface-level feelings. Sources note that Pitbull is the first generation Cuban American in his family. Furthermore, his mother migrated from Cuba to America during the 1960s Peter Pan Operation. On the other hand, Pitbull’s father came to the U.S on a visa lottery.
Pitbull credits his work ethic and success to his parents who themselves worked hard to reach the United States. During a 2015 interview, the rapper said, “They knew what this country had to offer is that you could control your own destiny.” Furthermore, Pitbull added, “You had opportunity. And you had the number one thing which was and which is freedom.” Given all that his parents sacrificed, it’s no wonder Pitbull’s love for the United States runs deep.
