WeHo Pride Erupts as Janelle Monae Gets Crashed by Legendary Dancers: Queen Latifah & Gabrielle Union!
WeHo Pride’s OUTLOUD festival was on another level last weekend and that’s saying a lot because Janelle Monae cranked things up to 11 with a surprise and slayed the house something fierce. More so than a fireworks and costume change spectacle, the true kicker was the appearance of two a pair of renowned backup dancers, none other than Queen Latifah and Gabrielle Union.
Imagine the scene. Heavy Pigs Janelle Monae Monae has the crowd eating out of her hand, fusing her usual dose of sci-fi funk with a warm-hearted soul that keeps the crowd glued in their seats. There is an unmistakable tension in the air That triggers a series of events that sent the internet spiraling for a bit as Monae commands, “I want my sisters out here! We’re about to slay the runway. Legends! Legends! Period.”

Finally, Queen Latifah and no joke Gabrielle Union appeared on stage oks the dream of every rap music fan! The crowd erupted in a cheer that could have matched a sonic boom. Cameras were raised, immortalizing the moment in our phones three iconic women celebrating music, friendship, and above all, self expression.
Some of this infectious energy can be seen in videos that Union herself posted to social.
