RZA of Wu-Tang Clan teams up with Ballantine’s Whisky for a new collaboration. The infamous Brooklyn-born rapper and producer RZA has long been a man who loves to push the boundaries. He competed in rap battles at only age eleven. He then produced his first album in 1993 with fellow Wu-Tang members GZA and Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
It’s safe to say that music has been in his blood from the start. He’s big on staying true to yourself. A mentality that he’s now bringing to a new collaboration with Ballantine’s Scotch whisky.

The brand focuses on authenticity and individuality. They teamed up with the legendary producer to launch an exclusive record player. Limited edition, Ballantine’s x RZA Crosley record player is available from June 30.
The distinctive design accompanies a Montero bluetooth speaker. It celebrates individual taste and the power of self-expression. With the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, Ballantine’s and RZA want to inspire people to embrace their passions and forge their own paths In the past, the producer worked on many film projects.
Including his directorial debut The Man with the Iron Fists (2011) and its sequels Love Beats Rhymes (2017) and Cut Throat City (2020). He’s also released two solo albums under his own name—RZA & GZA Unleashed (2000) and Liquid Swords II (2010).
Most recently, he worked on Kanye West’s fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and co-produced the Kanye/Jay-Z Watch the Throne tour Aside from his work with hip-hop artists, the producer has collaborated on a wide range of other projects, including his own fashion line, the House of RZA, which debuted in 2015 His most recent album. The Wu-Tang Ascends, marks a departure from the group’s traditional sound.
The album fuses elements of hip-hop with electronic influences and RZA’s use of unconventional production techniques. The partnership with the brand will continue in the months ahead, with a series of product drops from music to food and beyond. The pair will encourage people to live with no boundaries and break expectations as the rapper has done throughout his career.
Ballantine’s Scotch whisky has a long history of breaking codes and inspiring individuality, and the label wants to bring that same mindset to its collaboration with the rapper.
