Sebastian Taylor Thomaz was born on February 21, 2013, to model Amber Rose and rapper Wiz Khalifa. Recently, he celebrated his 11th birthday with his parents in the most extravagant rap-themed party that included a mural of famous rappers, a basketball court, black balloons, and arcade games.
Wiz Khalifa, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz, has spoken rather openly about his experience in parenting. Since breaking up with model Amber Rose back in 2014, he has always kept in the limelight how much co-parenting meant to him.
Rapper Wiz recently went on to appear on the viral podcast ‘Call Her Daddy.’ There, he shared a story of how fatherhood has changed him, talking about the responsibility associated with parenting and how that had gotten him more accountable for many other areas in life.
Wiz Khalifa, who shares Sebastian with ex-wife Amber Rose, has been open with his fans about his journey as a father. In between sold-out concerts and new music releases, Wiz always seems to squeeze in some quality time with his son-whether they’re gaming it up, spending a day at an amusement park or just chillin’ at the crib. According to Sebastian, his dad is “the coolest guy ever” and a man that he looks up to-not only because he is famous but also because he is supportive and playful.
Recently, Sebastian has referred to his dad as both “fun buddy” and “big helper.” “He’s always there when I need him,” said smiling Sebastian. “Whether it’s helping me with school projects or just listening to me talk about my day, he’s really good at being a dad.”
For Sebastian, who has been in the public eye since birth, thinks his parents get it just right. “They’re both really good at making sure I’m happy and healthy,” he said. “I get to spend time with both of them, and they always make sure I feel loved.”
With a house full of music and creativity, it’s no surprise Sebastian has some artistic flair of his own. He loves to spend time in the studio with his dad, soaking up every bit of his creativity and even offering ideas sometimes. “I like to watch him make music,” revealed Sebastian. “It`s cool to see how he comes up with lyrics and beats. His vibe is just so: be yourself and have fun whatever you’re doing.
Wiz, himself built through his style and lyrical prowess, was one to encourage him toward more creative interests of his own. Be it music, art, or sports, the rapper is always present to cheer him on. “I just want him to be happy and do what he loves,” Wiz once said in past interviews. “He’s got a lot of talent and a big heart, and I’m excited to see where that takes him.
Wiz Khalifa is infamous for his powerful, influential lyrics, and it would appear that his dedication to poetically compelling expression is wearing off on Sebastian. “My dad always tells me that if I want to say something, I should say it in a way that people will listen,” said Sebastian. “He’s really good at that, and I think that’s why so many people love his music.”
This forms one of the focuses in Wiz’s music and suchlike, which he would want to instill in his son.

But amidst the fame and the spotlight, Sebastian thinks of his father on a very personal and realistic level. “He’s more than just a rapper; he’s my dad,” Sebastian began to say. “I see how hard he works and how much he tries to care about me and other people. It makes me proud to be his son.”
The admiration goes both ways. Wiz has often spoken about how fatherhood changed him for the better, making him far more responsible and focused. “Having Bash in my life keeps me grounded,” Wiz said during a recent interview. “He’s my number one priority, and everything I do is to make sure he has the best life possible.”
While it’s too early to say if Sebastian might follow his father’s musical footsteps, he has indeed commenced threatening to inherit his dad’s charisma and creativity.
“I’m not sure what I want to do yet, but I know I want to do something fun and cool,” Sebastian said. “Maybe music, maybe something else. I just want to be happy, like my dad.”
