Early Monday morning, August 26, 2024, at 5 a.m. on South Las Vegas Boulevard, the rapper was in jail for allegedly carrying a concealed weapon in a public place without a valid permit in Nevada to add to his growing legal drama.
The arrest followed the emergence of shocking video footage that allegedly shows Lil Baby being handed a firearm while partying at the Encore nightclub. The footage, which has been obtained by a source, apparently has caught the very moment when the gun was surreptitiously passed to the rapper. Although Lil Baby had a valid Georgia CCW permit, making him a legal gun carrier in that state, out of state, it did not apply in Nevada. Unlike some states, Nevada does not reciprocate with out-of-state permits, making the weapon possession of his illegal in the Silver State. After being taken into custody, Lil Baby was booked into the popular Clark County Detention Center, and after posting a $5,000 bond, he was released almost immediately.
