New Music
Rising songbird Puck is wasting no time making her presence felt in the music industry. Returning to the music scene with her “Good Friends” visual, she is gearing up to have a very successful year musically. When the artist is not touring and traveling the world with Grammy Award-Winning singer SZA, she is diligently working on perfecting her craft as a solo recording artist. Her Seattle, Washington upbringing and New York home base, has prepared her to live a life full of melodic harmonies that have impacted the lives of thousands worldwide. As music serves as a healing agent for the Seattle native, she is using her musical gifts as a resource to anyone who needs a positive light in their life.
Returning to the music scene with her first release of the year, Puck is showing music lovers a more contemporary pop side to her creativity. In the “Good Friends” video, you will see Puck having a night out with her girlfriends as she is forced to confront a guy-friend who has been leading her own. The gag is that, Puck actually developed feelings for the guy sending her feelings on an emotional rollercoaster. Self-funded and directed by an all woman-lead production house Silkblade, the female empowerment vibes are at an all-time high. She credits her sanity to her friends. Her girl pals do an excellent job of supporting her, as they head back home on the NYC subway after a long night of clubbing and boy problems.
New Visuals
When I asked Puck about what made this video release so special she stated “It stars my music community in New York, and some of my closest friends as the cast. I filmed it at my favorite local venue, C’mon Everybody, at the very end of 2019. I am so proud to have completed this independently despite the pandemic and am in awe at the help I received from my community. It feels celebratory to release it.” It is clear that “Good Friends” was curated to bring together the local NYC community, while giving Kaley Puckett some majestic vibes to rock out to.
