The original cast of the popular musical SIX in London’s West End will be recorded on July 1, 2022. The Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss penned musical will be directed for filming by Liz Clare. Clare recently directed Adele – Live at the London Palladium, per Playbill.com.
The Original Originals
The original six queens, who earned nominations for Olivier Awards, will join together again for a one-night only reprise of their performances on July 1. The cast includes Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Millie O’Connell, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson, and Maiya Quansah-Breed.
The SIX cast currently performing on the West End will halt performances a few days prior to the filming. Performances will continue as usual on July 2 after filming has concluded.
SIX For One Night Only
Tickets to the London event will be available via the social media pages for the musical. However, these tickets won’t be so available. To buy a ticket, you have to win a public ballot. The ballot begins June 10 at 10 AM BST. Basically, may the odds be ever in your favor.
According to Broadway World, the winners of these coveted SIX on Broadway tickets will be able to walk the purple carpet and pose for photos. Given the show’s cult-following, snatching up a pair of tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime event will not be easy.
Itching For More SIX Content?
Earlier this week, the Broadway cast of SIX performed a number from the show on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Adrianna Hicks, Andrea Macasaet, Abby Mueller, Brittney Mack, Samantha Pauly, and Joy Woods performed “Get Down,” on May 26. Anna of Cleves’ featured song “Get Down” is definitely a highlight of this Broadway musical-meets-pop diva concert.

Tickets, Tonys, and More
Furthermore, the Broadway production of SIX earned eight Tony Award nominations. The Tonys are on June 12, 2022 at Radio City Musical Hall in New York City.
