The Harlem-based rapper and NYC-based duo release a new track from their forthcoming joint project. In a nutshell, Skizzy Mars and Prelow go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Longtime friends and labelmates Skizzy Mars and Prelow have unveiled their new collaboration, “R U OK,” available today at all DSPs and streaming services HERE. “R U OK” marks the second track released from their forthcoming joint project, “I Can’t Take Me Anywhere,” arriving everywhere on Thursday, November 29th.
The forthcoming collaborative project follows Skizzy Mars’ recently released EP, “are you OK?” which includes hit singles, “2006” and “American Dream,” the latter of which is joined by a companion video that premiered on HypeBeast. “American Dream” is also featured on the soundtrack for Madden NFL 19. “I Can’t Take Me Anywhere” also follows Prelow’s summer single, “Some Nights,” which Good Music All Day praised as “a beautiful, millennial track that incorporates the way of a pop single and the melody of a Daniel Caesar-like R&B song.” 2018 has seen a number of other track releases from Prelow including “Back When,” “Super Cool,” “Good People Do Bad Things,” and Phoebe Ryan/London O’Connor collaboration, “Goes To Shit.”
