Stranger Things Season 4 drops trailer; teases surprise character.
Stranger Things, the cult pop culture phenomenon that spills nostalgia and appeals to geek heads everywhere just released it’s season 4 trailer. Hopper (David Harbour) returns but so does a suprise character. So what’s in store for Season 4? Let’s take a look at the trailer and find out.
Trailer:
The color tone, the children playing, camera angles, and Eleven’s heavy breathing as she eevesdrops all combine to create a very tense, thrilling vibe that is creepy, to say the least. Season 4 looks to explore the story of the other children and perhaps what began this whole thing. This is exciting and I’m all for it.
In Season 4, it appears we get more information into Eleven’s (Millie Bobby Brown) back story. The trailer takes place in Hawkins National Laboratory. Dr. Martin (Matthew Modine) Brenner also makes an appearance as the “papa” that stole children like Eleven and performed experiements on them. There’s even more children that were tested on for for Project MKUltra. Whether the scene is a flashback, nightmare, or present day shenanigans still remains to be seen. I have so many questions!
Robert Englund, legendary horror icon, responsible for the campy and creepy Freddy Kruger will join the season as an imprisoned man in a psychiatric hospital for a murder he allegedy commited in the 1950s. Is it me, or did the creep factor just go up.
Stranger Things will drop on Netflix in 2022 due to set backs with shooting due to Covid-19. Needless to say, fans are at the edge of their seats with anticipation over Season 4.
