The Super Nintendo World will first open its gates for the very first time on May 22, 2025, inside the Universal Orlando Resort, within a brand new theme park called the Epic Universe. Hatched in tandem with Universal Creative and Nintendo, the only this kind of place in the universe offers immersive quests beyond compare while peopling whole, colorful universes from this iconic gaming legend.
But perhaps the biggest reason people will be flocking to Super Nintendo World is Super Mario Land: a fanciful, fantastical Mushroom Kingdom where guests can experience all sorts of unforgettable adventures with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and friends.
Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge is the crown jewel of the land, putting together innovative AR, projection mapping, and richly detailed physical sets all together. In this, guests will jump into their own Mario Kart and race with Team Bowser, collecting coins and throwing shells to win the Golden Cup.
Meanwhile, for a little more leisurely adventure, Yoshi’s Adventure is a family ride through lush scenery, where Yoshi invites guests into his world in search of rare, glowing eggs. Expect surprises around every turn- and some of your old friends.
Hungry? Enter Toadstool Cafe to sample a wide selection of food items with names and shapes referencing iconic Nintendo worlds. Appetite-whetting eats include Super Star Pasta, Goomba Stew, a Piranha Plant burger sandwich, and Koopa Troopa Alfredo Linguini among many other imaginative items. Additionally, take time to grab souvenir shopping at 1-UP Factory and Mario Motors to purchase merchandise where licensed Mario- or Luigi-themed fashion items, toys, and other collectibles recreate those amazing games by bringing joy into your kid’s heart once again.
Right next door, Donkey Kong Country whisks visitors away into a lush tropical jungle inspired by the video game franchise. The centerpiece here is Mine-Cart Madness, a family coaster unlike any other. By using innovative coaster technology, it replicates the sensational, gravity-defying jumps found in the games of Donkey Kong as riders join the quest to help Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong in protecting the Golden Banana.
This space will also host themed dining and exclusive merchandise related to Donkey Kong, details of which will be shared nearer to Park opening.
But at Super Nintendo World, that’s taken up a notch via the Power-Up Band, transforming your visit to real-life gaming. This will let guests be able to experience even more with a special wristband;
