Showing all its authenticity and unique characteristics, with an incredible transition from a lighter footprint to a more striking vibe, fascinating American rapper Tay Toy caused quite a stir in the American music scene with his track called “Life of Blues.”
“Life of Blues” is a song that has in its DNA a variable beat that masterfully allows a change of energy and dazzling flow.
Tay Toy had a conversation with us and answered our three unique questions. Take a look below.
HYPEFRESH: Let’s begin by introducing ourselves. Just share your name, age, and where you’re from, as much or as little as you’d like.
Tay Toe: Hi, I’m Taylor Tovey. I’m 25 years old and live in Salt Lake City, Utah; I was born in Los Angeles, California. I also live in Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri.
HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “Life of Blues”?
Tay Toe: I wrote “Life of Blues” for my younger brother. He grew up being an exceptional athlete, just like me, but eventually, he let drugs take over his life. He’s currently in and out of jail and prison in Los Angeles and other areas of California. I worry about losing him because of his drug problem.
I would want someone about to relapse or take their first hit to listen to this song and the lyrics. “Life of Blues” may have been written for my older brother, but anybody struggling with addiction can feel and hear the message.
HYPEFRESH: What do you like most about being a music artist?
Tay Toe: I love the emotions that are attached to meaningful music. I was listening to a playlist of sad songs the other day, and the words and feelings of those songs took my breath away.
I almost had to turn it off because it was so captivating. That is what I love about music, and I can do the same thing with my music. I had to work hard for ten years to become the writer that I am, but it was easy because music is my passion.
