Tekashi69, The self-appointed King of New York Leaving New York for good
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s upcoming release won’t be to his home state of New York. The high profile and highly controversial rapper have no desire to stay in the city of New York City after he gets out of prison.
One of the biggest and highest-profile stories that took over the hip hop world in 2019 was that of the Brooklyn rapper. Tekashi69 was at one point on top of the world of hip hop, with many hit singles and many artists lining up for collabs and features, the so-called “King of New York” had a convincing argument that he might be, or at least on his way to becoming the current one. He quickly became one of the most successful musicians on the Billboard charts but, just as soon as he rose to the top of the music world, he fell to the bottom.
After a ton of bad decisions, the rapper found himself at the center of a storm of controversy that derailed his career and landed him in jail. With his sentence short and the possibility of him getting out of jail but the end of the summer, Tekashi69 has no intention of staying in the city that raised him.
Reports coming from TMZ say that he’s already planning his life after prison, which will have nothing to do with staying in NYC.
Tekashi reportedly plans to put in place strict security measures upon his release, seeing as how there will be plenty of people who are going to be after the young musician. However, 6ix9ine still has plans of recording and releasing new music, though touring and live shows might be out the question for the foreseeable future.
As Tekashi69 has become completely nuclear after turning government informant, I can’t name a rapper right now that would even think about working with him. As a start towards a better life, leaving New York might be the smartest thing the rapper has done in a while.
What do you guys think about Tekashi 6ix9ine Release? Can he avoid gang retaliation in another state?
