This season is set to deliver an epic adaptation as it will cover the last of the Witcher novels, including Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake. Hang in there, folks, because there’s more! The Witcher has not only been renewed for a fourth season, but also for a fifth! The only exception is that these two seasons will be shot right after one grows with season 5 marking Geralt’s series wrap-up.
The Witcher emerged as a victor over its rivals in regard to viewership. Season 2 quickly became one of Netflix’s top shows for everybody. While critics were split on the second Witcher season, there is something that’s certain about “Witcher”: with an overwhelming 93% audience score, fans are in love with it.

However, great power comes with great… recasting decisions. Obviously, Henry Cavill vacating from the role will have a negative effect. Some fans worry this will be the show’s rock bottom, while others, like actress Mecia Simson (Francesca Findabair), believe Liam Hemsworth‘s portrayal will have a minor impact. Showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich remains confident that the show’s momentum won’t be derailed.
