Tiffany Haddish canceled her show in Georgia because she isn’t down with the “heartbeat bill.”
The comedian was caught coming out of Delilah, in Atlanta, when she was asked an upcoming gig. Tiffany Haddis canceled show is a result of a recent bill passed. It was a pretty easy answer for the star, who said, “If I can’t have control over my body if no other woman can have control over her body, why would I perform there?” She continued, “I don’t know how it’s going to be solved, to be honest with you, but what I do know is slavery is not cool. … I read that bill, and it looks like new slavery to me.”

The heartbeat was signed into motion last month, by Governor Brian Kemp. Under the bill, it prohibits women from getting abortions when there is any detection of a heartbeat from the fetus– which can be as early as six weeks.
The law reminds Tiffany Haddish slavery shit and brings back memories of her life before she was famous.
“I’ve been in these streets a long time, before Hollywood, before all of this, I been here. I’ve seen everyone who’s been loved and who’s been unloved. And you have to figure out how to survive … We’re all figuring out how to survive,” she said.
According to The Blast, Haddish references The Handmaids Tale to help prove her points.
