Tom Brady News: Did He Go Out Right?

It was pretty poetic to witness Tom Brady, a proud supporter of Trump, lose on MLK Day. Those who understand know to stay within their visit to Florida, which might explain why things aren’t going well for him anymore. There’s a chance that Monday night marked the end of the legendary Tampa Bay quarterback’s professional football career.

Though it’s normal and expected to experience regression with age in the game, it’s unheard of for someone to have plenty of gas left in the tank after throwing a career total of 735 touchdowns. However, after that disappointing performance against the Cowboys, I have complete confidence that he will bounce back next season and continue where he left off. It’s only fitting.

Having said all that, it will only happen if he finds the right team. Brady has a no-tag clause in his contract, which means he will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. I doubt he will return to Tampa Bay after seeing how their season unfolded. I would rather see him retire than subject himself to a mediocre team.

Although the signs indicate that it’s time for Brady to retire, I don’t see it happening. He has sacrificed so much not to end his career on top. Not many people are willing to prioritize a chance at a championship over their family and personal life. He may become the first 50-year-old professional football player.

Whatever unfolds, be prepared for an eventful offseason.
